Laura Platt is a flower enthusiast who lives in a tiny suburb on Iffly Street with her furry cat Scamp and her best friend, Sam. She’s the proud mother of one son, Darth Rob Vader, who attends college in New York. This serious Star Wars fan considers Dagobah to be one of the purest places in the galaxy.
Laura spends her days working in her garden while remaining hopeful that everyone in the world can live in peace. For fun, she enjoys speeding around town in her convertible 2020 Saab 9-3, sword fighting and, of course, bear watching. She currently writes and self-publishes women’s short stories, coming of age literature and other fiction.
